The industry focuses on two types of manufacturing: hand-made and machine-made carpets or rugs. While machine-made carpets are available in exclusive designs and types, nothing has been able to replace the value that hand-made carpets or rugs have been able to provide. Hand-made rugs or carpets have been considered eco-friendly and extremely valuable. They are also more durable as compared to the machine-made rugs since they use strong natural fibres.

PostHeaderIcon The Electric Light Of Twitter-Part 3

Well, it looks like Twitter found some more operating capitol from some high rollers including T. Rowe Price and Morgan Stanley to name a few. Could some of your bailout tax dollars at work here?

You can now sync your MySpace account with Twitter. This will let you update your status from your home page. When you update on MySpace, it will also show on Twitter, and visa-versa. Hats off to Ryan Sarver and the Twitter team for pulling this off. Although, MySpace seems to have lost allot of steam with Internet marketing in general unless your into the music scene which is pretty cool too.

Twitter has also changed their TERMS OF SERVICE also. So be sure to check that out so you don’t get slapped.

In this installment we’ll discuss some of the many Twitter tools available. As there are many apps. available for retweeting at different times, bulk follow and unfollow, phone apps. etc.. We’ll hit on more in the future, But for this installment we’ll look at some of the bulk management tools available.

These are a great time save3r if you are doing any kind of Internet marketing on Twitter to any extent. But take heed, I’ve been Twitter slapped a few times trying different things. To much of a good thing is bad at times. One needs to watch ones self here also.

Before you do any kind of bulk manageme3nt at all, log into your Twitter account and make at least 4 to 6 tweets, Keep these social and don’t do a sales pitch. This should keep Twitter’s radar screens down. Then log in to your favorite bulk manager.

There are many bulk managers out there, and a popular one is TwitterKarhma.com. This one is pretty good, and free to use. But me, being of simple mind, was a little bit confused at first. It puts a lot of people in front of you to check off and I was always afraid I’d be dumping someone that I didn’t want to. So if your new to this, read and understand carefully. Don’t be intimidated by it. But none the less, when figured out, it is a great tool for bulk management. Until…You hit 10,000 followers. Then it doesn’t work so well. You’ll have to find something new.

Another easy one is at tweetspinner.com. This will cost you $15.00 USD per month, but it does, most everything. It manages, it autotweets, it filters, it gives you real time logistics and statistics for the entire tweetspinner account. This is a good inexpensive tool for any type of social media marketing and is a favorite of Internet marketers because of the cost. It can all be set up on a schedule to do everything. It’s like tweetlater, TweetAdder, and TwitterKarhma all rolled into one package. And best of all, it’s affordable.

Another one out there is Tweepi. This one is also free to use and one of my favorites. This is a cool tool. It’s one of the only one’s that gives you statistics about who your about to follow or unfollow. Here you can clean up your nest from unwanted spammers and deadbeat users. Then you can follow quality tweeple using the statistics and filters provided. You can find and add like tweeple with similar interests or topics by using the “geeky follow”. You can do a “geeky flush” to rid yourself of all the infidels. You can do a “geeky reciprocate” to follow tweeple that are following you but you don’t follow them. And lastly, there is the “geeky cleanup” to dump off the deadbeat users. These are the ones that don’t engage, never RT, or don’t provide any useful content at all. This will truly purify your list of tweeple and make for a happy nesting experience. Too cool, huh? Oh, and did I mention, it’s no charge either.

Although there are many other bulk managers that do a great job, I just listed a few here that I’ve been exposed too while Internet marketing and leveraging social media for that purpose.

Remember…Before any “bulk” action is taken, make sure to log in to your account and make a few tweets, this should be done whenever you do anything on Twitter, regardless of what it is, and that should keep you safe.

Also, this is social media. So keep it real. Keep it social. Don’t pollute it with spam. Learn the proper techniques to ask for the conversion. Don’t be in a big race to get a trillion followers. This means nothing without good content and or links to good content, which the later is more important because then and only then do you discover who’s in your nest. Who’s in your nest?

PostHeaderIcon Southern California Real Estate Trends Continue to Show a Buyers Market

Southern California real estate statistics show that since early 2007, the housing market has been in the hands of the property buyers. Since then, Southern California real estate prices have fallen, and along with those prices, interest rates have dropped as well. This has prompted more people to buy property in 2008 compared to 2007. Sixty nine percent of Southern California real estate buyers claimed that lower prices encouraged them to buy, and 31% cited the low interest rates as their main motivation to make a move.

What some of the causes were for the downturn in the Southern California real estate market were poor underwriting of contracts, leaving buyers unaware and unprepared for fluctuating interest and mortgage rates, which lead to an increase in foreclosures and lender owned properties. Drastically increasing food and gas prices also were devastating to many buyers who had then come to no choice but to foreclose on their home. The increase in costs of living also made potential buyers unable to buy a home or postponing purchasing a home. These trends together resulted in a large increase of empty, available homes and people who could not afford to buy them.

Since there has been such an increase in the number of homes available for purchase in the Southern California real estate market, this has led to a wide array of choices and variety of homes for buyers to choose from. Buyers in 2008 spent much more time searching for a home than they have in previous years. In 2007, buyers spent an average of about 5 weeks looking for a home, while this year, the average amount of time browsing the market is about 8 weeks. In 2006, Southern California buyers had only spent an average of 2 and a half weeks searching for property. Traditional buyers, those not doing searches and virtual tours online to find a home, also visited twice as many homes before they purchased one this year.

Because of the large variety of choices and the uncertainty of what direction the housing market will be moving in, potential homeowners are also taking more time to purchase a home than they have in years past, and they are more cautious about the process as well. In conclusion, Internet buyers also spent more time searching through homes before contacting an agent in 2008, averaging 8 weeks, as opposed to traditional buyers, who searched the old fashioned way for 3 1/2 weeks before having a realtor step in. This year, 19% of Southern California real estate buyers were first time homeowners. They spent an average of almost 10 weeks with their realtor before buying a house, and in 2007, first time homeowners had only spent about 6 weeks searching before choosing one.

PostHeaderIcon Home Interior Decorating – Anyone Can Do It

As with anything the process of decorating your home in order to make it look nice becomes much easier especially when it complements the fabric and architecture of the house. In relation to home interior decorating by applying certain wallpapers, or painting the walls, or selecting furnishings and fittings (lights etc) and by including small accent decorations to the rooms (paintings or prints) it will provide the house with a certain feel.

There are many interior designers/decorators as well as some architects around who can provide a professional interior decoration service and you will soon see the difference between a home interior decoration and interior design.

With respect to home interior decoration this specifically focuses on the finishing touches such as wall paper, window coverings (curtains, blinds etc.,), furnishings and paint, whilst interior design is more involved with the architecture as well as room layout and other design parameters (cabinet making) that go into making a house a home.

The idea of home interior decoration first found its place in late 18th Century Paris and London and the more modern home interior decoration was began by Jeanselme from Paris, Lenygon and Morant from London and Ogden Codman who was based in New York. Over the last few years the idea of home interior decoration has gone through many phases and trends and certainly the most current trend is for trying to find ways to decorate a home on a budget.

With any home interior decoration scheme the whole idea is to improve the functionality of the home as well as reflect the owners taste and personality.

In 2003 homeowners had spent about $175 billion to improve their homes and about 65% of this was actually spent on the interior decoration of the home. Certainly the latest trend when carrying out any home interior decoration is for people to spend money on expanding their kitchens and livening up their outdated bathrooms. Also more emphasis is being placed on people creating a room for a specific purpose (family room, child’s play room) as well as on areas for individual members of a family (child’s bedroom, master bedroom).

As with respect to colour schemes these seem to be undergoing a change also with more and more people looking towards more earthy tones and turning away from the vibrant colours of the past. More and more people seem to prefer blue and grey colours in all different shades against the dull reds and dark blues of previous years.

Certainly the more innovative home interior decorating ideas around that do not cost much but give the same impression as a more expensive and ornate scheme are the latest trend for new career professionals and young married couples.

Often you will find that the focus relating to home interior decorating has changed from the more unique look of the 1980′s to a much more functional and harmonized look.

Over the last 15 years there have been some dramatic changes where home interior decoration is concerned and therefore for any good interior decorator keeping track of the latest trends is essential in much the same way that a computer geek will keep track of the latest hardware and software that has hit the market.
